Thanks to the Maison de la Culture du Japon à Paris (MCJP), we could orginize a special craft workshop for in total 60 kids in Paris. During the 1-2 March kids between 5 and 12 years old could learn together with their parents or grandparents more about japanese traditions, especially about the tradition of 'Hinamatsuri'.

'Hinamatsuri' or Girls' Day is a Japanese holiday to celebrate the growth of girls in health and prosperity. It is celebrated each year on 3rd of March. Usually on this day a special stage covered with a red material is bulit and a set of dolls representing the Emperor, Empress a.o. is placed on it. For this special occasion we were crafting a set of paper dolls using our Fitcut Curve Kids scissors and Glue Roller, which are perfect for the paper crafting with kids.

The results were amazing - all children enjoyed the creative process and had a lot of fun. And they learned more about Japan and its culture.
